Another Beauty Blog?

After I got the idea to do this blog in the back of my head I was thinking "does the world need another beauty blog? and the answer was yes because I felt I had a fresh perspective to share. It is interesting to me because I found that I really enjoyed reading about beauty products, celebrity makeup trends and new innovations happening in the skincare industry. I am also learning more about anti-aging products. (read more about me)

Its funny because I come from a generation who has always looked younger than our actual ages. My relatives, my friends and co-workers, we didn't place a lot of attention on needing to wear makeup although we would buy it. I remember always having lipstick, eyeliner and mascara in my purse. I experimented with eyeshadow and due to having sensitive skin wearing foundation was something I stayed away from until I found cosmetic products that work well with my skin type.

*Just as a side note this is not a vegan beauty blog, Although there are natural, organic and vegan makeup products from cruelty-free brands available with the best quality ingredients for your skin. I will try my best to showcase a wide range of products and some of those brands may have tested on animals or have harmful toxic ingredients. So I do advise that you become an informed consumer, doing your own research so that you can choose the best skincare and beauty products for YOU. For instance a brand might be popular but it may not be the "best fit" for your beauty care routine.

And this leads me to my next point which is when I started reading beauty blogs and watching beauty reviews on YouTube I noticed a new generation of social media influencers and beauty gurus who used social media to recommend the latest makeup lines being produced by celebrity entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Many of the big brand commercial makeup companies have had to change the way they communicate to this group of consumers. People want a personalized and customized experience when it comes to choosing a beauty brand to recommend, represent and follow.

The question in my mind is: (Does today's makeup companies share the same values as the men and woman wearing their products?)

My goal is to offer some answers to these types of questions while bringing you the latest in what is trending in the market of cosmetics.
